Boynton Beach Adds Devour Brewing Company To Its Beer-Making Family

Boynton Beach might not stick out in the annals of beerdom yet, but the suburban Florida city is on the verge of becoming a haven for breweries, as the third brewery is opening up in this municipality in the very near future.

Joining Due South Brewing Company and the soon-to-open Coppertop Brewing Company, Devour Brewing Company is poised to bring very small batch beers to the city.

Owner Chip Breighner of Lake Worth has been setting up shop over the last couple of months on a brewhouse that will initially only produce one barrel of beer at a time with names and flavors like Vanilla Chamomile Agave wheat, Orange Coriander pale ale, Chocolate Coconut porter, and Paradise saison.

“The city is welcoming all kinds of breweries, and I’m excited to be a part of it,” Breighner told the Broward-Palm Beach New Times. The 2,600-square-foot space is located at 1500 SW 30th Ave. and is complete with small-scale refrigerators acting as fermentation space, plastic fermenters, and even some chest freezers to hold kegs. It’s an operation that would be familiar to anyone that homebrews.

Until the exact date of opening is known, it will be a waiting game. For now, there are progress pics of the taproom being built, which should suffice…
