Due South Turns Three Saturday, See What They’re Excited About

Some kick ass beers will be available this coming Saturday at Due South Brewing Company‘s 3rd anniversary party.

Owner Mike Halker was kind enough to share some of the beers that he’s excited to see people experience, and gave us a quick run down of what the event will entail.

For the beers, Halker was looking forward to having attendees sample the Grapefruit Category 5 IPA, as well as see the return of a crowd favorite in the Oaked Category 5 IPA. Apple Brandy Barrel Aged Caramel Cream will make a return as well, and continuing on the barrel theme, there will be a treatment of Mexican Standoff (their porter with chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, and peppers) aged in tequila barrels that will, without a doubt, prove a popular pour.

Look out for the Passionfruit Belgian Blonde, which he says is phenomenal. For a complete list of beers and their tapping times, check out this awesome image from Facebook.

MV My Food Truck¬†will be one of a few trucks on site, but will be the center stage by producing a pig roast. How that will go down is still a mystery, so we’ll have to wait until Saturday to see how that goes down.

Tickets for beers will run just under $5 for either a 12 ounce or 9 ounce pour depending on the beer, with all taxes and tips included in the price.

See you Saturday.
