Saltwater Brewery in Delray Beach hosted their second of a series of beer-centered festivals this past Saturday April 30th. Focused on their Belgian-styled tripel Don’t Get Confused, the event was a full day of fun (and drinking) in the sun outside the brewery.
Around a dozen local breweries attended to lend their support, and there was plenty of good beer to be had. From 26 Degree Brewing Company to Civil Society Brewing, from Miami to Fort Pierce, and everywhere in between, beer flowed for those curious enough to come out.
Though attendance seemed lower than the first one most likely due to SunFest, it meant that beer enthusiasts didn’t have to wait and worry about beers tapping too quickly. I was easily able to get a glass of Confused in the Morning, an amazing treatment of their tripel aged on coffee, maple syrup and Belgian waffles, Saltwater’s deliciously drinkable early morning Red Tide Shandy, as well as Tha Green Monsta IPA from J. Wakefield Brewing.
