If you’re at all familiar with Barrel of Monks Brewing in Boca Raton, you’re aware that the Belgian-oriented brewery has been selling beer in primarily 750ml large format bottles. That is, until now.
Revealed on Twitter, the brewery has taken stock of a lovely piece of Italian hardware, a GAI MLE 661. The machine can bottle with an output of up to 525 liters per hour or approximately 1200 bottles per hour on 33 cl. standard bottles, according to the manufacturer. Usually the bottling lines are run under their max throughput.
Monks has shared that they will be placing their White Wizard into 12 ounce bottles, a sight that should delight many across South Florida, as they can enjoy the tasty witbier in a more manageable size.
Today we welcomed a new member of the family! The new bottling line allows us to do 12oz btls and get White Wizard to a store near you! pic.twitter.com/pj4AfpE5Hf
